Cooperation in islam

Image
Praise be to Allaah. Firstly:  Allah has created man weak, and he needs to cooperate continuously with others throughout his life. This is clear in worldly affairs. Man needs someone to sow for him and harvest for him, and he needs someone to make tools, and market goods, and buy things. To sum up, people cannot live unless they cooperate with one another.  Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said in  al-Tis’eeniyyah  (1/125):  The sons of Adam cannot live in this world unless they help one another in word and deed. End quote.   With regard to matters of religion and sharee’ah, this is also the case. No Prophet could call people without needing others to help him to convey the message of Tawheed and defeat shirk. The effects of that are particularly clear in the case of jihad, and the same may be said with regard to teaching, looking after the poor and taking care of widows and orphans.  Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning

Chinese Eat babies for Sex

Chinese Eat Baby Soup for Sex One Baby Policy Blamed for Killing Babies in China Some Chinese people are known to be eating babies, and the news, which has been circulating through the internet and via email, is shocking the world. An email report received by The Seoul Times confirmed that news with several vivid and appalling pictures of human embryos and fetuses being made into a soup for human consumption. The report went on. A town in the southern province of Canton (Guangdong) is now in focus. Chinese folks there are enjoying baby herbal soup to increase overall health and stamina and the power of sexual performance in particular. The cost in Chinese currency is approximately Rs 2,000 (which is about US$4,000). A factory manager was interviewed and he testified that it is effective because he is a frequent customer. It is a delicacy whereby expensive herbs are added to boil the baby with chicken meat for eight hours. He pointed to his second wife

The people of Hell will abide therein forever

Image
Praise be to Allaah   The people of Hell will remain in Hell being tormented without end. This is indicated by a great deal of evidence from the Qur’aan and Sunnah.  Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen was asked: Is Hell eternal or will it come to an end?  He replied:  What is definite is that it is eternal, and no other view is known among the salaf. Hence the scholars made this one of their tenets of faith, so that we believe that Hell is eternal and will last forever. This is a matter concerning which there is no doubt, because Allaah has mentioned the eternal nature of Hell in three places in the Qur’aan:  1 – In Soorat al-Nisa, where He says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Verily, those who disbelieve and did wrong [by concealing the truth about Prophet Muhammad and his message of true Islamic Monotheism written in the Tawraatt (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel) with them]; Allaah will not forgive them, nor will He guide them to any way. Except the way of Hell, to

Muslims must help each other

It is mentioned in a Hadeeth (narration) that there are slaves of Allaah the Almighty whom He has assigned for fulfilling the needs of others. He made them love goodness and endeared goodness to them and they will be saved from the torment of Allaah the Almighty on the Day of Judgment. Who are these slaves? All perfect praise be to Allaah, the Lord of the worlds. I testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allaah, and that Muhammad   is His Slave and Messenger. This Hadeeth (narration) was narrated in Al-Mu‘jam Al-Kabeer, compiled by At-Tabaraani   and in Musnad Ash-Shihaab. However, it is a Dha‘eef Hadeeth (weak narration). There are no specific slaves whom Allaah the Almighty distinguished to fulfill others' needs. There are many Hadeeths that encourage Muslims to help each other. The Prophet   told us that a Muslim is a brother to his fellow Muslim; he should not wrong nor harm him but rather support him. Anyone who helps his brother accomplish a n

things that we can do in Ramadan

Image
During the holy month of Ramadan, Muslims fast from dawn to dusk for the entire month, an act that brings joy and contentment to every Muslim who experiences the practice. We pray that this blessed month brings divine blessings to all of us.  This month of Ramadan is giving us yet one more opportunity to re-dedicate ourselves to the absolute power of the divine and refocus our lives to worshipping Him and Him alone. Each of us can develop an individual plan to benefit from and we can all do something extra to earn some additional grace from God, the Almighty.   Here are a few suggestions that we can look into: 1. Let us make it a habit to visit the mosque as often as possible but atlas once a day with our families.  2. Let us make it a habit to break fast with fellow Muslims in the mosque at least once a week. 3. Let us invite our non-Muslim friends and neighbors to join us in the breaking of our fasts. 4. Let us pool our efforts and resource

The best charity is that given in Ramadhan

Imams Al-Bukhari and Muslim reported that Ibn ‘Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, had said, “ The Prophet (saws) was the most generous of people. He used to be the most generous in Ramadhan when he would meet with angel Jibreal and study the Quran with him. Angel Jibreal would meet with the Prophet every night in Ramadhan to teach him the Quran. The Prophet was so generous when he met with Jibreal, more generous than the wind that brings rain. ”  Imam Ahmad added to this narration, “ And nothing he was asked for but he would give it. ” Furthermore, Al-Bayhaqi reported that ‘Aaishah, may Allah be pleased with her, had said, “ When Ramadhan would start, the Prophet would release all prisoners of war and fulfill the need of every person who would ask him for something. ” Generosity and giving are attributes that Allah likes for Muslims to have. Also, Allah is the most Generous and Giving of all. Indeed, Allah’s Generosity multiplies in Ramadhan. Similarly, the Prophet’s g

the Speech of Allah

The Noble Quran is the eternal miracle of Prophet Muhammad, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, because all the miracles of the prophets, May Allah Exalt his mention, ended with their death, except our Prophet, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, whose miracle is still preserved. This everlasting miracle is The Book of Allah and His Revealed Speech that  {Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it}  [Quran 41:42] Allah The Almighty Confirms this fact, when He Says (what means): •  {And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the Words of Allah.} [Quran 9:6] •  {Those who remained behind will say when you set out toward the war booty to take it, "Let us follow you." They wish to change the Words of Allah.}  [Quran 48:15] Those two verses prove that the Quran is the Words and Speech of Allah The Almighty that He Has Revealed to His Prophet Muhammad, sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam. What does fasting mean?

Image
Fasting, is abstaining from eating, drinking and coitus from daybreak to sunset as a devotional ritual. Allaah, the Almighty Says in the Noble Quran (what means): "O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous."  [Quran; 2:183] That is: that you may fear Allaah, keep away from His prohibitions, and fulfill His Commands. Prophet Muhammad   said:  " Whoever does not give up forged speech and evil actions, Allaah is not in need of his leaving his food and drink (i.e. Allah will not accept his fasting.)"  [Al-Bukhaari] This means that Allaah does not want us to abstain from eating and drinking only, rather, He wants us to refrain from evil deeds and vileness too. The Prophet   instructed that a fasting person, if offended or abused, should say: "I am fasting."  [Al-Bukhaari] By this, as though the fasting person says: "It is because I am fasting I do not return you
